QDF serious about being a Socially Responsible Company - 05/28/2010

As of May 2010, QDF is sponsoring a child through SOS Children's Village "Balik Eskwela Program" (Back to School program) with the aim of ensuring a brighter future for a child who lost parental care.

To be a player in the corporate social responsibility arena, a company has to care about its environmental impact, to whom it is selling, ethics and company policies, as well as the community it serves.

QDF, partners and associates, provide relief goods to Ondoy victims.

Typhoon Ondoy caused a total destruction to Manila. It has been reported that a month's worth of rain fell in just six hours, flooding 80% of the capital.

The Management and Staff of Quinn Data Facilities Inc. (QDF) quickly gathered to pack relief goods such as rice, biscuits, canned goods, noodles and water on the night of September 28, 2009. Mr. Bob Quinn – Chairman of QDF spearheaded the worthwhile act.

QDF Call center operations have been cancelled on the said day and QDF's clients and partners were notified of the devastation the Typhoon has caused the Philippines.

Upon learning about the terrible news, QDF's partners and associates namely Mr. Melvyn Hill – Managing Director of Insight CCI Ltd in the UK and Ms. Maggie Johns – Fundraising Director of HRI Australia, expressed heartfelt sympathy to the serious damage in Metro Manila caused by typhoon Ondoy and immediately provided contributions through QDF.

The Combined effort and contributions of QDF and partners produced Relief Goods that were immediately delivered to the following drop off points:

• MMDA Katipunan for Marikina victims and received by Mayor Lourdes Fernando
• Municipal Hall of Cainta and received by Mayor Ramon Ilagan
• Eusebio High School for Pasig victims and received by a staff from Eusebio High School

QDF also provided relief goods and cash advances to its own employees who are victims of the said devastation – Moregan, Alpha, Jeff, Peter and Vance.

QDF and partners only wish for the speedy alleviation of the suffering of the affected people as well as for the full restoration in the areas damaged by this calamity.

Kyle wins the Golden Key! QDFs Golden key for a Boracay Escapade was won by Kyle on September 2, 2009. The mechanics was so simple –  Each UK call center agent who reached KPI gets a Boracay Escapade raffle ticket. On the draw date, every time a raffle ticket is pulled out from the glass bowl the agent gets a chance to pick a golden key and open the box that bears the Boracay Escapade Vouchers and the plane tickets. Kyle and company enjoyed basking on Boracay sand from September 12 – 14, 2009 and took pleasure in staying in one of the best hotels in Station 2 with a full delight of buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner! All she had to say was “SULIT!” or simply put,“It was WORTH IT!”

QDF Joins DOLE Job Fair In line with the 111th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence – Kalayaan 2009 QDF participates in the Job Fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment on June 12, 2009 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
